Friends of the Poor began in 1988 as a personal mission of Sister Rose Vu to help orphans and less fortunate children of Vietnam. Over the years, Sister Rose has helped over thousands of orphans, poor and/or disabled families and elderly, and supported hundreds of young adult in their vocation to become future priests and nuns, all throughout Vietnam.
