We will be collecting warm hats and mittens for children and young adults in our community the month of November.
Bring your warm hats and mittens to place on the Christmas Giving Tree in Malley Hall.
Hats and mittens will be donated to "Hats & Mittens" an all-volunteer nonprofit organization with the goal of ensuring that the children of our community have the access to warm hats and mittens during the Minnesota cold winters. All sizes of hats and mittens are needed to keep kids ages 3 years old to 18 toasty warm. Waterproof mittens are preferred when possible.
Each year to serve those in need in our own church community, the Women's Guild gives Gift Cards to help families enjoy a wonderful feast. This year they will give five $50 Cub Food Gift Cards to families in our parish. If you know of a family in the parish in need, please let Cathy Miske or Willard Miller know.
Every Christmas season, OLMC donates Christmas stockings to Little Brothers of the Poor Friends of the Elderly. This year, on December 6 from 10:45AM to 1:00PMÂ we have supplies to make 150 stockings! We will need 10 individuals or small groups of the same family to volunteer to help stuff the stockings. Please let Cathy Miske know if you are interested in volunteering. Masks and social distancing will be required.
This annual Women's Guild event is a wonderful opportunity to help mothers in need in our community. All donations will benefit Abria Pregnancy Resource Center. Please consider bringing an unwrapped baby gift and a salad, relish tray, appetizer, rolls and bread, fruit or dessert to share.
